A Veterans Town Hall is being held to introduce a 55-unit affordable housing apartment complex for veterans that is being proposed for the property adjacent to the Millbrae BART station. Come and learn about this proposal, support our veterans, and do what you can to help realize this dream! Everyone is welcome!
The Veterans Town Hall will feature presentations from veterans, advocates and affordable housing experts, including:
- Leora Tanjuatco, Housing Leadership Council of SMC
- Mike Conklin, Sentinels of Freedom
- Republic Family of Companies
- The Core Companies, and the
- SMC Veterans Services Office will be staffing a resource table
This event is a great opportunity to help support our veterans who have served our country well and are transitioning to civilian life. Join in support of the proposed affordable housing for veterans by coming to this Town Hall, learning about the proposal and spreading the word.
There will be free appetizers and refreshments at this event. Everyone is welcome!
