The Northern San Mateo County Citizenship Workshop will take place on Saturday, April 11, 2015 from 9am to 1pm at Serramonte Del Rey, 699 Serramonte Boulevard in Daly City.  This event is a partnership between my office, the San Mateo County Human Services Agency and the New Americans Campaign.

This workshop will only serve lawful permanent U.S. residents with completing their citizenship application.

At no charge, on the day of the workshop, lawful permanent U.S. residents will have a free consultation, assistance with filling out the application in person, then a final legal review of the application by volunteer attorneys. 

Legal residents who receive a public benefit from HSA through programs such as Medi-Cal, CalWORKs, CalFresh and/or General Assistance are eligible for a citizenship application  fee waiver by the federal government and will be provided assistance with completing the waver during the workshop.  Lawful permanent U.S. residents who are not clients of the San Mateo County Human Services Agency are also welcome to register to attend the workshop.
