Fair Oaks Community Center
2600 Middlefield Road
Redwood City, CA 94063Get Directions

For the first time in over 35 years, a significant portion of the Middlefield Road business district located in the unincorporated area of North Fair Oaks will undergo a major update. Residents and community members are invited to participate in upcoming discussions that will determine what Middlefield Road will look like in the future.

Weigh in your opinions about parking, roadway design options, zoning, and public art opportunities associated with the Middlefield Road Redesign.

The redesign is made possible by the $12.5 million investment allocated by the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors. Now in its early planning phase, the project will involve undergrounding of utility lines and changes to the roadway, lighting, parking and street amenities on Middlefield Road between Fifth Avenue and Pacific Avenue. Future phases of work will impact other sections of this busy street.
