California Coastal Commission
Thank you for visiting the California Coastal Commission section of my website. As appointee of former California State Assembly Speaker John Perez, it is an honor to serve and represent the Central Coast District, which includes the counties of Monterey, Santa Cruz, and San Mateo.
I welcome your input concerning Coastal Commission-related matters and I want to hear from you.
For general comments, questions, or concerns about California's coast and its environment, please don't hesitate to communicate with me directly using any of the channels listed below.
For matters pending before the Commission or on a Coastal Commission agenda, the Coastal Act (Sections 30322-30324) sets forth strict reporting requirements for Ex Parte Communications. All oral or written communications regarding matters within the Commission's jurisdiction must be reported within seven days, unless they are part of the matter's official record. To communicate with me 'on the record' via email, please copy email@example.com or the project in question's assigned staff person. To communicate 'on the record' via regular mail, copy your correspondence to the project's assigned staff person or Jack Ainsworth at 45 Fremont Street, Suite 2000, San Francisco, CA 94105.
Please note - I only accept Ex Parte Communication requests for Monterey, Santa Cruz and San Mateo Counties.
To schedule an in-person or telephone ex parte communication, please contact Gina Quiney at firstname.lastname@example.org or 650-363-4460. Mail communications can be addressed to Commissioner Carole Groom, Board of Supervisor, 400 County Center, Redwood City.
