With great pleasure I spoke at the groundbreaking ceremony for 67 affordable housing units to be built in North Fair Oaks, located at 2821 El Camino Real, between Berkshire and Dumbarton Avenues. This will mean so much to our community – and to me – with some of the units being set aside for veterans and those with special needs. The apartment building will include landscape open area, a community kitchen, computer lab, gathering space, fitness space and a picnic area for the residents to enjoy. I cannot wait to attend the ribbon-cutting and see families and individuals move in!
