Warren Award Recipient: Melissa Reggiardo
Melissa Reggiardo, Principal Planner for San Mateo County Transit District (SamTrans), has been very busy for the past year and a half. Melissa’s been the lead project manager for the Dumbarton Transportation Corridor Study - a $1.2 million dollar study that identifies strategies, including a rail crossing, to reduce traffic congestion and improve mobility between Alameda, San Mateo and Santa Clara counties.
Along with her colleagues at SamTrans, Melissa shepherded this study from a decades-old idea to a nearly 300-page living document. The study describes a three-phase approach to both short and long-term improvements along and within the corridor - all of which are designed to reduce traffic congestion (and the accompanying frustration) for all of us on San Mateo County’s roads and bridges, and beyond.
Thank you Melissa for your hard work and commitment to the Dumbarton Transportation Corridor Study! Your Warren Award is well-deserved!
