  • The Community Choice Aggregation initiative is being led by my colleagues, Supervisor Dave Pine and President of the Board of Supervisors Carole Groom. It is a local energy model that allows cities and counties to pool the electricity load of their residents, businesses and municipal facilities with teh goal of offering consumer choice, affordable rates, and cleaner energy. A committee comprised of 28 members representing each city and supervisorial district has been formed. They will meet for the next 16-months to explore options and form a recommendation as to whether and how a CCA would work for the cities and County of San Mateo.

Thank you Bill Clebsch, a resident of North Fair Oaks adn also the Associate Vice President for IT Services at Stanford, for your willingness to represent District Four on this committee!
